We are The National Cycling Academy and we like to mix business with pleasure. So here goes.
Many high profile politicians have been photographed riding to work at least once, critics say it’s just to tick the eco’ photo opportunity box for their press office. But many are genuinely serious about cycling. We want to find who you are and give you a bit of credit. Especially if you’ll be throwing your weight behind cycling initiatives in your ward.
Let’s start with the easy bit: do you own a bike? We cordially welcome you to our Facebook group and our new blog where you have the opportunity to post an image of you and your bike and to make a positive statement to cyclist all over the UK.
You’ll also get a very special UKWheelers star number reserved for our very special guests (think Gold Blue Peter badge).
This is a bit of fun mixed in with a positive social message and no-one is out to score party political points here – quite the reverse we want EVERYONE cycling.
